nick of time趕在最後一刻；及時。nick原本指的是刻痕，和notch的意思相同，有精準和確切的含義。其實nick本身就可以解釋為“關鍵時刻”或是“最後一刻”，後面加上time只是為了強調這個習語的時間概念。
