有些鴨子(像綠頭鴨)在水面附近尋找食物。這些鴨子在尋找食物時漂浮在水面上,或者說“坐”在水面上。它們沒有任何保護自己的措施,而且幾乎靜止不動。於是“坐”在水面上的鴨子很容易被擊中,成為獵人的獵物。
