【用法】dozen作量詞時，經常與of連用。但是，dozen前有基數詞（one，two，three。。。）或many、several等詞時，其後不接of，直接加名詞即可，並且此時dozen採用單數形式。然而，若dozen後面的名詞前有限定詞（the，his，her，my，their，these等）修飾時，dozen後面要加of與限定詞隔開。
