英語中闖紅燈的“闖”

不是用“break”這個動詞

常用“

run

”

Run the red light 闖紅燈

例：

That car is running the red light。

那輛車闖紅燈了。

I was afraid of being late for work， so I ran the red light。

我擔心上班遲到，於是闖了紅燈。

闖紅燈還可以用：

jump the red light

jump表示忽略掉，直接過馬路

例：

Don‘t jump the right light。

不要闖紅燈。

還有一個說法：

jaywalk

［ˈdʒeɪwɔːk］

亂穿馬路

可以表達闖紅燈的意思

也可以指其它亂穿馬路的行為

例：

If you jaywalk， you could easily get hit by the car。

如果擅自穿越馬路，很容易被車子撞到。

"開罰單"“罰款”英文怎麼說？

違反了交通規則被交警逮到

就要開罰單或者罰款了

開罰單 Write a ticket; give a ticket

被開罰單 Get a ticket

罰款 Fine

例：

We can’t turn left here。 It‘s against the traffic regulations。

這兒不能左轉彎，要違反交通規則的。

I got a ticket this morning because I ran the red light。

我早上因為闖紅燈被開罰單了。

I got caught by the traffic police when I ran the red light， and he wrote me a ticket。

我闖紅燈的時候被交警逮到，還被開罰單。

I was fined 200 yuan for parking my car in a No Parking area。

我把車停在非停車區，結果被罰了200塊。

超車 overtake

I accelerated to overtake the bus。

我加速超了前面的公交車。

斑馬線、人行橫道 Zebra crossing

She watches her smartphone when walking on a zebra crossing。

她過斑馬線的時候還在玩手機。

超速駕駛 speeding

This man was not qualified to drive and was speeding。

這名男子沒有駕駛資格，並且超速駕駛。

變道 change lanes

I hate people who change lanes without signaling。

我討厭變道不打燈的人了。

靠邊 pull over

（靠路邊停車或因緊急情況而把車開出車流）

I have a flat tire and I have to pull over。

車胎癟了， 我得靠邊了。

路標 signpost

You may get lost if you can’t read the signpost。

如果你看不懂路標，你很可能會迷路。

交通堵塞 traffic jam/congestion

We got stuck in a traffic jam/congestion。

我們遇上塞車，被困在路上。

掉頭 Make a U turn

When reversing to make a U turn on an ordinaryroad， the driver should do so at a place where thenormal traffic is not affected。

在一般道路上因掉頭需要倒車時，應選擇在不影響正常交通的地段進行。
