決定愛上妳
be in love
意思是“戀愛、相愛”，後面可以加上 with someone 表示“跟誰相愛”，例如：
We
were in love
for about eight months。（我們大概談了八個月的戀愛。）
I can tell from their eyes that they
are still madly in love
with each other。（我從他們眼睛能看出他們依然深愛著對方。）
fall in love
Fall 有“墜入”的意思，所以 fall in love 要表達的就是“戀愛、墜入愛河”囉！後面同樣可以加上 with someone 表示“愛上某人”。例如：
I never thought I would
fall in love
with someone so easily。（我從未想過我會這麼輕易就愛上一個人。）
那如果感情淡了，兩人不再相愛了，英文則可以說 fall out of love。例如：
They were so deeply in love weeks ago。 I can’t believe they
fell out of love
so soon。（他們幾個禮拜前是如此相愛。真不敢相信他們的感情這麼快就散了。）
head over heels （in love）
Head 是“頭”，heel 是“腳跟”。這個片語最初是寫成 heels over head，用來形容某人跌倒、頭下腳上的情形，到了 18 世紀，這個片語前後對調變成了 head over heels，意思也從跌倒在地變成跌進愛裡，用來表示“愛得神魂顛倒、跌入愛裡無法自拔”。我們來看個例子：
I think he has
fallen head over heels in love
with the girl he met in France。（我覺得他已經無可自拔地愛上他在法國遇到的那個女生。）
love at first sight
At first sight 是“第一眼”，所以 love at first sight 自然就是指“一見鍾情”囉！例如：
The moment when our eyes met， I knew it was
love at first sight
。（我們眼神交會的那刻，我知道那就是一見鍾情。）
戀愛中的那些小事
lovebirds
要表示“情侶、戀人”，我們常會用 couple 或 lover，但除此之外還有一種幽默的表達喔，那就是 lovebirds，用來形容那些“很恩愛的戀人、愛侶”。例如：
Let’s go somewhere else and leave these two
lovebirds
alone。 （我們到別的地方去，別打擾這對愛侶了。）
lovestruck
Strick 有“擊、打”的意思，那“被愛擊中的”自然就是指“熱戀的、被愛衝昏頭的”。例如：
Be rational。 Don’t behave like a
lovestruck
teenager。（理智點。別像個被愛衝昏頭的少年。）
lovesick
Sick 是“生病”，lovesick 就類似我們中文說的“害相思病的”，特別指因為愛上不愛自己的人而傷心難過的狀態。例如：
He’s been acting like a
lovesick
boy， spending all his time mooning over a girl who doesn’t even know he exists。（他最近就像是害了相思病的小男孩，無時無刻都在想那個根本不知道他存在的女孩。）
lovey-dovey
意思是“在公開場合卿卿我我的”，例如：
Hey， you two！ Stop acting all
lovey-dovey
and go get a room！（唉，你們倆！別大庭廣眾卿卿我我的，去開房間啦！）
而我們中文常說的“放閃、曬恩愛”，英文則可以說 PDA，也就是 public display of affection（公然展示愛慕之情）。例如：
This celebrity couple is pretty open about their relationship， showing plenty of
PDA
in public。（這對明星情侶檔對他們的戀情相當公開，在公共場合曬了不少恩愛。）
love bite
Bite 有“咬傷、咬痕”的意思，而在愛裡會出現的咬痕，其實就是那些常在脖子上留下的“吻痕、咬痕”囉，也就是俗稱的“種草莓”。來看個例子：
She was embarrassed to find that her boyfriend had left a huge
love bite
on her neck。（她尷尬地發現她男友在她脖子上種了顆大草莓。）
除了 love bite，我們也經常用
hickey
來表示這種吻痕。例如：
A： Is that a
hickey
on your neck？（你脖子上是被種草莓嗎？）
B： No， it’s just a mosquito bite。（不，只是被蚊子叮啦。）
puppy love
Puppy 是“小狗”。小狗小時候可能深得大家喜愛，但隨著小狗長大，這種喜歡的感覺可能會逝去，因此有人用 puppy love 形容“孩童或青少年時期感受到的短暫愛戀”。來看個例子：

。 We were so young and naive then。（那只是少男少女間短暫的愛戀。我們當時太過年輕、太過天真。）
love triangle
Triangle 是“三角形”的意思，所以 love triangle 自然就是指“三角戀”囉！來看個例子：
Her latest novel is about a love triangle among three teenagers。（她的最新小說是關於三個青少年的三角戀。）
