Please是“請”，但I please you可不是“我請你”啊！到底啥意思

比如，Have a seat，please，表示請坐；One hamburger， please，請給我一個漢堡等等。

不過，雖然Please是“請”，但I please you可不是“我請你”啊！到底啥意思？

Please還有其他什麼含義呢？我們來看一下！

1）“I please you”可不是我請你！

Please在表示“請”的時候，這樣的詞性是叫做感嘆詞（interjection，常顯示int。），類似oh！這樣的感嘆。

但是“I please you”中，明顯please是個動詞。

那please做動詞是啥意思呢？

Please means make sb happy。

Please的意思是讓某人高興；也就是所謂的“取悅”某人。

所以，I please you就是我取悅你。

來看幾個英語例句，感受一下咔咔對你們的取悅，哈哈：

① You can’t please everyone unless you are money.

你不可能取悅所有人，除非你是錢。

* 哼，錢能取悅我嗎？？？能嗎？？？能嗎？？？

2）“please”並不是一直表示“禮貌”哦

Please似乎是一個“禮貌”用語，但是所有的禮貌用語根據語氣的不同，也會有變化。

比如說下面這個英語對話：

① - We can make money this time! Trust me!

- Tom, Please! You’ve said the same thing so many times!

- 這次我們能賺錢！ 相信我！

- 湯姆，求你了！同樣的話你說過好多次了！

* 這裡的please有一種無奈與不耐。

So， you can say “Please！” when you think what someone has just said or asked is not possible or reasonable。

所以，你可以說“Please!”當你認為某人所說或所問的東西是不可能或不合理的。

② - Maybe we can win.

- Oh, Please! How could we defeat them? They have been the champion for 5 years.

- 也許我們能贏。

- 哦，得了吧！我們怎麼能打敗他們呢？他們連續五年獲得冠軍了。
