英語教學：“WH”提問可以和介詞連用，常見的組合你知道幾個？
英語教師在每一堂課都離不開，問題的設計，問答包括師生之間的，也是生生之間的，還有一個學生面對全班或小組的等等形式，教師提問問題設計是最常見的課堂教學活動設計之一。如何提問在任何課堂教學中都是必不可少的。在英語中，最常見的問題是“wh”提問，因為它們以這兩個字母開頭：where、when、why、what和who。它們可以作為副詞、形容詞、代詞或其他詞類，用於詢問特定的資訊。
但WH”提問可以和介詞連用，最常見的組合你知道幾個？首先我們看一下這幾個詞單獨使用時問題時如何預設的。
Who
用這個詞來問關於人的問題。在這個例子中，“who”是一個直接賓語。Use this word to ask questions about people。 In this example， “who” serves as a direct object。
如：Who do you like？
Who has he decided to hire for the job？
在其他情況下，“who”作為主語。在這種情況下，句子結構與肯定句相似。
如：Who studies Russian？
Who would like to take a vacation？
在正式英語中，whom將代替who作為介詞的直接賓語。
To whom should I address this letter？
For whom is this present？
What
Use this word to ask about things or actions in object questions。
What does he do at weekends？
What do you like to eat for dessert？
透過在句子中新增單詞“like”，你可以要求對人、物和地點的物理描述。
What type of car do you like？
What is Mary like？
When
Use this word to ask questions about time-related events， specific or general。
When do you like going out？
When does the bus leave？
Where
This word is used to ask about location。
Where do you live？
Where did you go on vacation？
How
這個詞可以和形容詞結合在一起，用來詢問有關具體特徵、質量和數量的問題。
How tall are you？
How much does it cost？
How many friends do you have？
Which
當與名詞連用時，這個詞是在許多專案中進行選擇時使用的。
Which book did you buy？
Which kind of apple do you prefer？
Which type of computer takes this plug？

很多“wh”問句都可以和介詞連用，尤其是在問句的結尾。一些最常見的組合如下：
who 。。。 for
who 。。。 with
where 。。。 to
where 。。。 from
what 。。。 for （= why）
what 。。。 in
例如：Who are you working for？
Where are they going to？
What did he buy that for？
Jennifer is writing a new article。Who for？
She‘s writing it for Jane magazine。
Tips
當使用“do”和“go”等更一般的動詞時，通常會使用更具體的動詞。
Why did he do it？
He wanted to get a raise。
Questions with “why” are often replied to using “because” as in the following example。
Why are you working so hard？
Because I need to finish this project soon。
這些問題通常用祈使句（to do）來回答。在本例中，帶有“because”的子句被理解為包含在答案中。
Why are they coming next week？
To make a presentation。 （Because they are going to make a presentation。）
