第三期｜EF睡前故事：The Quiet Queen

故事作為很棒的睡前程式，向小寶寶傳遞“該睡覺了”的訊號。

在培養孩子睡眠習慣的時候，告訴TA應該幾點睡覺是沒有用的，因為TA不會看時間，也毫無時間概念。

最重要的是把一件事跟睡覺聯絡起來，讓TA覺得“幹完這個我就該去睡覺了”。

對下一步有明確的預知，會使寶寶更加放鬆，更容易接受睡覺的安排。

Quiet Queen》

In a country very far from here，

在一個很遠很遠的國家

there was a white castle on top of a mountain。

山頂上有一個白色的城堡

The king and his beautiful wife lived in the castle。

城堡裡住著國王和他美麗的妻子

One day， a naughty little boy jumped into the garden of the castle and he met the queen。

有一天，一個淘氣的小男孩跳進了城堡裡的花園，見到了皇后

She looked very sad。 “What’s wrong？” the boy asked。

她看起來非常傷心，小男孩問道“你怎麼了？”

“I’m not ready to be a queen。 No one likes me，” the queen said。 “I’m too quiet。”

“我還沒有準備好當皇后，沒有人喜歡我”王后說道“我實在是太安靜了”

“It’s ok to be quiet，” the boy said， “I’m sure you have other good qualities。”

“安靜沒有什麼不好”小男孩說道“我敢確定你有其他好的品質”

The queen thought and said， “Yes， I’m smart， honest， and helpful。 You’re right， it is ok to be a quiet queen。 Thank you！”

皇后想了一下，說道，“對呀，我很聰明，誠實，樂於助人。做一個安靜的皇后也沒關係呀。謝謝你！”

“You’re welcome。 I’m sure people will like you if you do helpful things for them，” the boy said。

“不客氣！我敢說你為大家做有用的事情大家都會喜歡你的！”小男孩說道。

After that， the queen was more confident。 She helped many people in her country， and everyone loved the Quiet Queen。

之後，皇后變得很有自信。她幫助了許多人民，每個人都愛上了這個安靜的皇后。
