拜倫（George Gordon Byron 1788—1824），英國19世紀初期偉大的浪漫主義詩人，代表作品有《恰爾德·哈羅德遊記》、《唐璜》等。他不僅是一位偉大的詩人，還是一個為理想戰鬥一生的勇士，積極而勇敢地投身革命。羅素在《西方哲學史》專門闢出一章論及拜倫，高度評價他對西方哲學、思想、文學、藝術的深遠影響。
