英語裡所謂的With獨立(主格)結構多年來也一直(也僅僅)是被作為中國英語應試教育中單純純粹的英語語法範疇來教學,也只是作為應試教育中命題的熱點、重點來看待,卻極少甚至從來沒被“提升”到作為基礎“英語思維”訓練的一個很好素材來訓練。“跳出”應試教育這個“坑”,單純的語法範疇裡的With獨立(主格)結構訓練就使得應試教育裡的語法學習不可同日而語。

能熟練地在With獨立結構與原來的完整句子之間任意“切換”,就是你具備最基本簡單的“英語思維”能力的一種體現:

1。 He sat there thinking, with his chin on his hand.

這句英語“什麼意思?”(下同,非得要“英譯漢”,懂其漢語“才能懂”嗎?)

1a。Okay。I got you。If you say He sat there thinking, with his chin on his hand,you mean He sat there thinking, and his chin was placed on his hand.

1b。Okay。I got you。If you say He sat there thinking, and his chin was placed on his hand,yiu can also say He sat there thinking, with his chin on his hand。

這就叫無需事先“想”漢語直接英語的簡單基礎的“英語思維”。

2。The old man stood there, with his back against the wall.

1a。Okay。I got you。If you say The old man stood there, with his back against the wall,yiu mean/you can also say The old man stood there as his back was against the wall.

2b。Okay。I got you。If you say The old man stood there, and his back was against the wall,you mean/you can aldo say The old man stood there, with his back against the wall.

同樣的英語學習內容:你是永遠只把自己當作一個“語法永遠學不盡”的英語“應試教育”學生角色看待,還是把自己“提升”到訓練自己最基礎簡單的“英語思維”能力訓練的學生來看待呢?
