形容詞比較級的10種用法
1、表示兩者進行比較時用形容詞比較級
其結構為“ A + 比較級 + than + B ”
than 後面是一個省略了成分的比較狀語從句，代詞須用主格
Lily‘s room is bigger than mine。
莉莉的房間比我的大。
This moon cake is nicer than that one。
這個月餅比那個好吃。
He writes more carefully than she。
他書寫比她認真。
注意:
① 為了避免重複，在從句中常用 the one，that，those 等詞來代替前面出現過的名詞。其中 the one 替代可數名詞單數形式，the ones 或 those 替代可數名詞複數形式，that 替代不可數名詞
The weather in Beijing is colder than that in Guangzhou in winter。
冬天北京的天氣比廣州寒冷。
② than 及其後面比較的部分有時可省略
Are you better now？
你現在好些了嗎？
（“現在”和“過去”比較，省略了“than yesterday”之類的時間詞）
③ than 引起的從句中的成分應該與主句一致
It is more important
to do
than
to say
。
行動比說話更重要。
（都使用不定式）
Swimming
is more interesting than
walking
。
游泳比散步要有趣得多。
（都使用動名詞）
2、形容詞比較級前可以加程度副詞
much，far，a lot，a little，even 等修飾
表示“……得多 / 甚至…… / 更……”
China is much larger than Japan。
中國比日本大得多。
He is a little/a bit taller than I。
他比我略高一點兒。
Lily is careful， but Lucy is even more careful
莉莉很細心，但露西更細心。
3、形容詞的比較級前可以加表倍數的詞修飾
This table is twice bigger than that one。
這張桌子比那張桌子大兩倍。
This bridge is three times longer than that one
這座橋比那座橋長3倍。
4、形容詞比較級前可加名詞短語
形容詞比較級前可加“數詞+名詞+比較級+than”構成的名詞短語表示確定的度量。
He got to school five minutes earlier than his desk mate．
他比他的同桌早5分鐘到校。
She is two years younger than I．
她比我小兩歲。
5、表示兩者之間進行選擇
用句型“ Which/Who is+形容詞比較級，A or B？”表示
Who is taller， Li Ming or Wang Tao？
李明和王濤兩個誰比較高？
Which sweater is more beautiful， the yellow one or the pink one？
哪件毛衣更漂亮，是黃色這件還是粉色那件？
6、表示兩者之間最
常用“the+比較級 of the two”結構
Mary is the taller of the twins。
瑪麗是雙胞胎中較高的那個。
7、避免與自身進行比較
形容詞比較級要避免與自身進行比較
要用比較級+than any other+單數名詞
或
比較級+than anyone/anybody/anything else
來表示“比其他的任何……都……”
Lin Tao is older than any other student in the class。
林濤比班上其他任何同學的年齡都大。
Jack studies harder than anyone else in his class。
傑克比班上其他人學習刻苦。
注意：
若不在同一範圍內比較，則不用other或else
Shanghai is larger than any city in Japan。
上海比日本的任何一個城市都大。
China is larger than any other country in Asia。
中國比亞洲任何別的國家都大。
