on，in，at表示地點用法解析
on基本意義“在之上”接觸面，“靠近、接壤、左右邊”；
in基本意義“在裡面”和“中間”；
at基本意義表示小地點， “入口、車站、電影院”；
home出現定語、冠， 須用in把at換；
“夜間、車輛”若有限， 及“在途中”on在前。
知識拓展：
①在表示地點時，指“在……之上（與表面接觸）” “靠近、接壤”及“在左右邊”都用on。
例 There is an English-Chinese dictionary and two grammar books on the big desk．那張大寫字檯上有一本英漢詞典和兩本語法書。
Korea lies on the northeast of China． 朝鮮位於中國東北方。
Tom was sitting on my left when we saw the film yesterday． 我們昨天看電影時，湯姆坐在我左邊。
表示在……的東部、西部、南部、北部（不接囊）用to
②表示“在……裡面”（即物體內部），“在……中間”（即middle前）都用in。
例 Jim turned the key in the lock and opened the door． 吉姆把鑰匙插在鎖孔裡，轉動一下，打開了門。
Soon they were in the middle of the river． 很快他們就游到了河中間。
in a car 乘汽車
in a taxi 乘計程車
in a helicopter 乘直升機
in a boat 乘小船
in a lift （elevator） 乘電梯 （電梯像個籠子，當然要用 in 啦）
in the newspaper 在報上
in the sky 在空中
in the bed 在床上 （也可用 on the bed）
in the bedroom/ class/ library/ school 在寢室/課室/圖書館/學校
in the tree不屬於樹上長的東西用in
on the tree屬於樹上長的東西用on
③ at表示一個較小的地點，如在“入口”（entrance）“車站”（bus stop，railway station）和“影劇院”（cinema，theater）等名詞前。
例 As she walked along，she noticed an old pine tree ahead at the entrance to a valley． 她往前走時，注意到前邊峽谷口有棵老松樹。

之意體會下面幾個例子，很有意思：
1。 I live in London。 我住在倫敦。（大城市用in）
2。 I live in England， at London。 我住在英國倫敦。（England大過London喔）
3。 I live in a big city， my sister lives at a small town。 我住在大城市，我
姐姐住在一個小市鎮。（如果把city看做一個圓圈，small town就成一個點。因此就in
a city， at a small town。 呵呵）
④home前一般用at，但若有物主代詞和冠詞等定語修飾時，須用in。
例 In Princeton he lived quietly，working at the institute and enjoying himself by playing his violin in his simple home． 他在普林斯頓過著安靜的生活，在研究所工作，在他那簡樸的家裡拉琴消遣。
⑤“夜間”（night）、“車輛”（bus，bike，train ect．）等名詞若有限定詞及“在……途中”，介詞則用on。
例 He was in on that night． 他那天夜裡在家。
My son often goes to school on his bike．我兒子常騎腳踏車去上學。
On the way home my father told me of an incident that took place on his first day at school in Mr Crossett‘s class． 在回家途中，父親給我講了他第一天上克羅塞特先生課時發生的一件事。
on the ceiling 在天花板上
on the floor 在地板上
on a bus 乘巴士 （不是 in a bus 喔）
。on a train 乘火車 （可想像“騎”在火車上，哈哈）
on a plane 乘飛機 （可想像“騎”在飛機上）
on a ship 乘輪船
on a bicycle， on a motorbike 騎腳踏車/摩托車
I live on the 7th floor at 21 Oxford Street in London。 我住在倫敦牛津街
21號八樓。（7th floor 就是八樓；注意句中的 on， at， in 的用法）
on a horse， on an elephant 騎馬/象
on the radio， on television 聽廣播、看電視
on the left， on the right 在左邊、在右邊
