“Better you than me”可不是“你比我更好”啊！難道是更差？

英語中的than是一個常用詞，用於比較兩個事物，常見搭配比如說more than（比。。。更多），亦或是The more，the better（表示越多越好，多多益善）。

那今天我們就來分享一下跟than相關的一些其他實用英文片語和句子。

1）Better you than me。

“Better you than me”可不是“你比我更好”啊！難道是更差？啥意思？

Better you than me means I don’t have to experience what you have to，也就是我不必經歷你不得不經歷的事情（一般這樣的事情都很糟心）。

因此，Better you than me的意思相當於幸虧是你而不是我（有點幸災樂禍的趕腳呢，哈哈）。

英語例句：

① Better you than me，I don’t have to work overtime tonight.

幸虧是你而不是我，我今晚不必加班。

② - My boss is making me write the sales report and it's going to take forever！

- Better you than me，I'm going to a movie this weekend！

2）No sooner said than done。

這句話相信你老闆最喜歡了！為什麼？首先no sooner。。。than。。。的意思指一。。。就。。。，馬上動手一點都不含糊。

No sooner said than done means right away or immediately，意思就是立刻，馬上，（提出要求後）一說就辦，說幹就幹。

有點像

I am on it（馬上去做）

的意思，我覺得你老闆肯定開心到飛起（over the moon）！

英語例句：

① - Adam，I need you to reorganize the store room.

- No sooner said than done，boss.

- 亞當，我需要你去重新整理一下儲藏室。

3）Know better than。。。

Know better than。。。從字面上看是“比。。。明白得更多”，其實是指你明白很多道理，頭腦很清晰，因而不會去幹一些蠢事，常常按know better than to do sth。搭配使用（注意有一定的否定意味在其中）。

這個片語的意思是明白事理（而不至於去做某事），或不至於糊塗到（去做某事）。

① I know better than to judge a book by its cover.

我明白滴很，不會去以貌取人。

② You know better than to talk to strangers！What were you thinking？

你不至於糊塗到去跟陌生人說話啊！你當時在想啥呢？
