In real life, I believe that each of us feels that it is a very valuable thing to get a promotion based on our own strength。 Then for everyone, what position must be promoted to match ourselves Where is the location? Until you can‘t do it?

This reminds me of a famous law in management, called “Peter’s law”。 It refers to “in a hierarchical system, each employee tends to rise to a position where he is not competent”。 This means that each employee will be promoted to a higher level due to good performance in the original position; after that, if he continues to be competent, he will be further promoted until he reaches a position that he is not competent。

For an organization, a considerable number of people are pushed to an incompetent level, which will cause the organization‘s personnel to be overwhelmed and inefficient, leading to the mediocre people getting ahead and stagnating development。 Therefore, it cannot be inferred that a person must be competent in a higher position just because he has done well in a certain position。 Promoting an employee to a position where he can’t give full play to his talents is not only not a reward for the person, but it also prevents them from making better use of their talents and brings losses to the company。

Of course, it‘s not just at work, but Peter’s law will be encountered。 The same is true in study and life。 If you put a person in a position where he is incompetent, you will not be able to meet the expectations of him, and it will also cause a blow to the confidence of both parties。 Therefore, it is very important for everyone to find their own position。 They can neither bury their own talents nor delay the development of others, and understand where their cap value is。

The ancients said, “Knowing is knowing, not knowing is not knowing, knowing is also knowing。” To understand is to understand, not to understand is not to understand; if you can, if you don‘t, you won’t。 This is not a ridiculous thing。 There are often things in life that require cooperation。 We cannot choose what we are not sure about, let alone promise what others do not, otherwise we will lose the trust of others in ourselves and hinder the development of things to a certain extent。 This is just the ridiculous thing。

For enterprises and organizations, they must learn to observe in real time, dissect their abilities together with members, use talents rationally, and strive for mutual benefit。 The development of the group should not be hindered by inappropriate use of manpower。

I hope we can find our own cap value in our lives, remembering that we can only break through when our vision, pattern, and ability can reach the next level。 Always strive to prepare for the next level and wait for the opportunity to come。
